How do I find my routing or account numbers?
The routing number for Houston Bank & Trust is 0XXXXXXXX, and can be found at the bottom of your checks and deposit slips. The account numbers are also found at the bottom of your checks and deposit slips, next to the routing number.
How do I set up Direct Deposit?
Direct Deposit is set up with the payer, typically your employer or Social Security. Contact the payer, and provide Houston Bank & Trust's routing number (above) and your account number.
When will my deposit be credited to my account?
Deposits are credited to the account on the day presented. Direct Deposits are generally available by 9:00 am.
What do I do if I find suspicious transactions on my account?
Contact the bank at your earliest opportunity. If the transactions in question involve a debit card, use your mobile app or call the number on the back of your debit card to have the card frozen to prevent additional suspicious transactions.

Contact Houston Bank & Trust to have your username changed. Password changes can be initiated on our online banking website, or in the app. by clicking Forgot Password.
How do I send an online wire?
Wires can be sent for business customers through our online banking site or in the business mobile app. If you want to send a personal wire, or do not have access to send a wire using those methods, please contact us to be granted access.
How do I get started with Bill Pay?
Once you have signed up for online banking or the mobile app, you will have access to the Bill Pay function. Each recipient will need to be added, using information from the bills you normally receive from each one, then bills can be paid to each saved recipient.
How do I sign up for online statements?
Online statements are available for each customer enrolled in online banking or in the mobile app. No additional registration is required.

The interest rate is dependent on several factors, including but not limited to credit history, debt-to-income ratio, type of collateral and bank history.

Payments may be made in person, or electronically using our online banking system or mobile app. Wires may also be sent, using your loan number as the account number to be credited.

Transactions are monitored at the time of the transaction for potential fraud, and if fraud is suspected, the transaction may be blocked before it can impact the account. Access attempts through online banking or the mobile apps are also monitored in real-time for reasonableness based on a variety of factors.
Customers are reminded that they should also check their accounts and statements routinely to watch for any fraud and report fraudulent transactions to the bank immediately.
